| Hair transplantation is
not a mechanical surgery in a way that people cut hair
from one area and place it in another area.
Even though surgical skills are necessary to have
great outcomes, artistic abilities of a great surgeon are
more important to create excellent natural-looking
results. Hair
transplantation is NOT like planting trees.
In order to get excellent hair transplantation
results, Dr. Yousefi and his staff will consider many
factors including how to prepare the grafts, where to
place the grafts, how to place the grafts, the angle of
the grafts, the depth of the grafts, as well as the number
of grafts. Furthermore,
hair characteristics, the unique and individual anatomy of
each patient’s head, and facial features, need to be
considered in combination with patients’ scalp
characteristics. The hair’s density, caliber, curl, and
frizz/waviness should be considered when placing grafts in
oily or very elastic scalps.
